Songwriters may book

The Australian Songwriters Conference will be held from June 6 to June 9 at the Ettalong Beach Club and Mantra Resort.

The deadline to register is Thursday, May 8.

"Songwriters can sign up at the website and pay a $200 deposit to secure their place at the event," conference coordinator and founder Ms Lisa Butler said.

"The balance of the fee isn't due until May 22."

The conference agenda includes seminars and workshops, song pitching to attending publishers, mixing with the professional songwriters and A&R faculty members in a "relaxed and creative and intimate atmosphere", networking opportunities and nightly Open Mics and informal late-night jam sessions.
