Rugby players still needed

Woy Woy Junior Rugby Union Club has had185 players sign up to play this year, following two registration days in February.

Players were still needed for the under-8s, under-10s, under-11s and under-13s sides.

Coaches are also required for junior teams.

"The commitment and dedication of some of our junior players is commendable and becoming a coach provides a great opportunity to pass on some knowledge and skills to our local youth," said president John Stokie

Woy Woy Junior Rugby Union was also seeking sponsors, with sponsorship packages available from $250 to $1800.

"The sponsorship packages offer exposure for local businesses on our uniforms, ground signage and the club website and newsletter," Mr Stokie said.

"Donations of equipment and products for use in fundraising, raffles and our canteen would also be greatly appreciated, with donors mentioned in our club newsletter."
