Thought needed on school siting

Not much thought has gone into the building of a new school at Kariong.

It's going to present traffic chaos.

It will be dangerous for children crossing the road.

It will be in the vicinity of the Juvenile Justice Centre.

Why couldn't the school be built on the rugby union ground at Kariong?

Rugby union could move to Mt Penang as there are two football grounds available plus a good club room.

Or the school could be built in vicinity of the Australian Rules ground.

Closing of gardens which brings tourist money to the Coast is a silly idea.
