Interest in urban strategy
Expressions of interest have been received for implementation of the Peninsula Integrated Urban Area Strategy.
They are currently under review by council officers and the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources.
Gosford Council last year approved a consultants' brief for the work and sought responses from consultants Connell Wagner, Newbold-Leyshon-Elton, and Advantage Urban Planning and Architects.
The successful applicant will be required to hold consultation with relevant stakeholders including business, community groups and welfare organisations
Cr Chris Holstein said that a date would be set for the completion of the work once council officers and DIPNR had chosen a successful applicant.
