Memory Way is opened
Memory Way was officially opened at Ettalong Public School on Friday, February 20
Member for Peats Ms Marie Andrews conducted the ceremony in the presence of 350 past and present students, teachers and school community members.
Memory Way is a path made up of pavers printed with messages from past and present school community members.
At the front of the path, an engraved bell on a bell stand has been erected.
The bell is a replica of the original school bell.
Memory Way will continue to grow as more personalised memory pavers are added to it.
The pavers were purchsed to make a lasting reminder of the school's 75th anniversary celebrations in June last year.
More than 1000 past and present students, teachers and community members participated in the celebrations.
