Brisbane Water plan discussions

Koolewong residents have met with Member for Robertson Mr Jim Lloyd to discuss an impending review of the now eight-year-old Brisbane Water Plan of Management.

Gosford mayor Cr Robert Bell urged a previous residents' meeting to include a 20-year horizon and warned that this would be an important task for them in the coming year.

He also noted that the existing plan had not foreseen some of the changes in utilisation that had eventuated.

For example, in the past four years, the amount of boating on Brisbane Water had increased three-fold.
