School to issue bike licences

Pretty Beach Public School is issue "bike licences" to emphasize bike safety, asking parents and students to abide by safety laws and regulations.

The licences will be issued to students in Years 3 and 6 to encourage them to obey safety rules when riding their bikes to school.

Parents and students will sign their licenses which will be copied and filed.

The school already has safety regulations in place for children from Years K to 2 who are not permitted to ride to school unless accompanied by a parent.
