Writing classes resume
Creative writing classes will resume at the Country Women's Association building opposite Fisherman's Wharf on Thursday, February 12, at noon.
The classes are resuming after a gap of six months.
The group caters for poets, writers of memoirs and articles but their main drive is towards short stories and novels.
A number of the group's previous students have won literary competitions and others have had their stories printed in magazines for substantial amounts.
"Beginners are especially welcome and you will find us to be congenial listeners and friendly critics," said group member Hugh Roberts.
The term is for eight weeks at the same time every Thursday.
Numbers are limited but vacancies exist.
