Disability parking request

Gosford Council will write to Deepwater Plaza shopping centre management requesting disability parking spaces be widened.

The council's Disabilty Access Committee was told of concerns that some of the accessible parking spaces provided at Deepwater Plaza were not wide enough for ease of access.

The committee's concerns, and request that consideration be given to remarking the spaces at 3.2 metres in width, was noted at the recent council meeting on November 27.

The committee was also told that an industrial waste bin was impeding access to the parking space at Woy Woy station and has written asking that it be relocated.
