Community group holds another smart energy talk
Umina Community Group is holding a second free Community Smart Energy Talk on Monday, April 29, from 7pm, at Umina Surf Life Saving Club.
"The first session was a great success," said organiser Mr Tony Winch.
"Wonderful feedback was received from the attendees."
He said he was thanked for organising "such a great event".
One person had told him: "I really appreciated how well prepared the speakers were, and how generous they were with their time after their talks."
Mr Winch said another had said: "I learnt of several practical actions I can immediately take."
The talk is presented by Umina Community Group in partnership with Peninsula Environment Group, Patonga Progress Association and Van Holland.
"These talks will help inform people how to become energy efficient, save money and reduce emissions," Mr Winch said.
