Easter Pairs attracted 18 bridge teams
Brisbane Water Bridge Club's Easter Pairs red point event attracted 18 teams.
Sitting north-south, Pauline Caust and Alan Bustany had a narrow victory from regular players David Bowerman and Dasha Brandt.
The east-west direction saw club stalwarts have a close result, with Martin Johnson and Chris Hasemore edging out Sylvia Foster and Jaan Oitmaa.
Novices Bow Lowry and Dieter Mucharsky picked up a third spot in a strong field.
Tournament secretary was Peter Hume with director Marcelle Goslin.
