Vehicle fire contained in the early hours
Pearl Beach fire brigade were called out in the early hours of Wednesday, February 21, to a vehicle fire on Patonga Dr.
After being called out at 3:14am in the morning, the crew arrived shortly after Fire and Rescue NSW Station 340 Umina firefighters, who had already made quick work extinguishing the vehicle fire.
The wet and cold conditions overnight were no fun for the volunteers, but did mean that the fire was easily contained to the vehicle, preventing its spread to the surrounding bushland.
The quick response was said to be the result of a call to Triple Zero by members of the local community.
