Public speaking

Students from Pretty Beach Public School participated in the Hunter-Central Coast Regional Public Speaking Competition on Wednesday, August 24.

Seven students from the school competed in the competition, said teacher Mr Chris McInerney.

"Their confidence, poise, use of palm cards, voice projection and eye contact with the audience was particularly impressive," he said.

"This was the third time I heard their speeches and I believe they saved the best for last."
