Sympathies change
It is most disturbing when rabid republicans spit on the British part of the Australian Flag.
Might I suggest if that they don't appreciate the efforts of the English, Irish, Scots and Welsh in building this country, they leave.
When young, I had republican sympathies.
However with age and a little wisdom, I've come to realise that God-fearing hereditary rulers have a responsibility to the people, whereas power hungry politicians have a responsibility to their corporate masters, and the corporations only have a responsibility to the holy dollar.
