Firewheels go around

Someone, whether council or community, has a sense of history at Ettalong.

Many firewheel trees once lined that avenue in the old days, but were destroyed without consultation with the council or the community.

These trees have dynamic flowers, hence firewheel, and are very slow growing.

So in my view it was an obscene crime that they were terminated.

However, now there are young firewheel trees planted, which shows what goes around comes around.
