Undercutting new councillors is unconscionable
May I congratulate you on your editorial in the current issue (Peninsula News 603).
It is a cogent and well-expressed position that we can all get behind, although I have no great hopes of a Ministerial turn-around.
It appears that the Minister's intention is to hamstring the Council from the get-go.
Of course, the fact that the same old hacks have been elected to the Council does not inspire confidence, but to undercut them before they even take office is unconscionable.
