Brisbane Water bridge teams at Muswellbrook
Four Brisbane Water Bridge Club pairs attended the Muswellbrook Congress over the weekend of October 7 and 8.
After the Saturday Pairs qualifying rounds, the Brisbane Water hopefuls were divided into two divisions.
Chris Hasemore and Barry Foster finished second in the "Plate".
Our other duos made the more prestigious final with Sylvia Foster and Jaan Oitmaa taking out second place.
"Our other pairs had difficulty making an impression in this quality field," said club president Mr Jim Routledge,
"The Sunday teams saw an improvement in our fortunes.
"Team Hume of Peter Hume, Elaine Hume, Chris Hasemore and Barry Foster finished fourth in the morning qualifier and then went on to win the high-status teams comfortably with three wins and a loss."
