Men's shed elects new committee
The Umina Beach Men's Shed has held its annual general meeting on Monday, November 22.
Mr Bill Wood and Mr Lionel Blayden retired from the committee at the meeting, while Mr Bill Stedman stood down as treasurer, but continued on the committee.
The committee for the coming year is chairman Mr Darrell Pannowitz, vice-president Mr Bill Ide, secretary Mr Vic Brown, treasurer Mr Gary Gilday and committee members Mr Harvey McDougall, Mr Larry Stewart, Mr Bill Graham, Mr Graham Bevan and Mr Bill Stedman.
An extraordinary general meeting was held before the annual meeting to amend the constitution to allow the Shed to have deductible gift recipient status.
The motion to amend the constitution to meet the requirements was unanimously passed.
