Making recycled paper

Pre-schoolers at Woy Woy Peninsula Community Childcare spent their first day back making their own recycled paper.

After tearing-up some old pieces of coloured paper, they mixed them with some water using the hand beaters to make paper pulp.

The children added some pink glitter before squeezing out the water then laying it out on cloths before pressing to remove more water ready for drying.
