Empire Bay Dr resurfacing project completed

A $2.8 million resurfacing project has been completed on a 1.7-kilometre section of Empire Bay Dr between Nerang Rd and Wandi Cl.

Member for Terrigal Mr Adam Crouch said Transport for NSW had engaged Central Coast Council to complete the work.

He said: "19,000 motorists travel along this section of road each day, which forms a vital link between Kincumber, Bensville, Empire Bay and suburbs on the Peninsula like Ettalong Beach.

"The old road surface was scattered with potholes and this resurfacing project will ensure smoother and safer trips for Central Coast residents."

Mr Crouch said the four-month project had supported 20 local jobs and three local suppliers.

The work started on May 19.
