Two contribute to award-winning film

Two Peninsula residents have contributed to an award-winning feature film.

Umina's Ms Sophia Stratton was lead actress and St Hubert's Island's Ms Vivien Sale producer for the film Equivocal Redemption, which has screened on the international film festival circuit over the summer.

The film took out Best Feature Film at CKF International Film Festival, Best Fiction at the American Golden Picture International Film Awards, Best Director at the Florence Film Awards and Best Original Screen Play at the New York Movie Awards.

The film was made locally by Kincumber's Salt House Creative to which Ms Stratton and Ms Sale belong.

A preview of the film was screened at Ettalong's Cinema Paradiso on February 28, with the full-length film scheduled for full release once the film festival season concludes in November.
