Pool visits top 491,000 a year

Central Coast Council has disclosed annual attendance at the Peninsula Leisure Centre indoor heated pool has reached 491,000 visits.

This compares to Gosford's outdoor and indoor heated pool complex with 189,000 visits and the Toukley indoor heated pool with 132,000.

Roofing over the centre's sports hall is currently being replaced at an estimated cost of $30,000.
