Free kayaking tours

Central Coast Council is running two free kayaking tours of Woy Woy's Waterfall Bay this week.

The tours will take place on December 10 and 11 and will be run by Council's environmental education team, Oarsome.

Mayor Cr Lisa Matthews said the tours were a part of a series of free events taking place across the Coast's waterways with support from the NSW Government.

Cr Matthews said residents could enjoy a free kayak paddle on Brisbane Water.

"Visit Waterfall Bay, see amazing bird life and learn how we can all care for our waterways," Cr Matthews said.

All equipment and a morning tea will be provided.

Interested kayakers must be eight-years-old and up to participate.

Meeting point will be advised on booking confirmation.
