Organiser claim 6000 at Coastal Twist
Organisers have claimed 6000 people attended the Peninsula's Coastal Twist Festival last month.
Festival director Ms Glitta Supernova said: "Brisbane Water Police advised the almost 6000 strong crowd were all well behaved with only one arrest in the area being made on the beach and completely unrelated to festival."
She said that data collected from hundreds of surveys which were taken by 40 volunteers across all events highlighted an even split between New South Welsh and out of state visitors.
All six major events making up the festival program sold out, she said.
A total of 43 shop windows had mounted window displays in support of the festival.
Another Coastal Twist Festival is planned for next year.
