Rotary club announces Pride of Workmanship awards

The Rotary Club of Umina Beach has announced five winners of its 2019 Pride of Workmanship Awards.

The annual event celebrates exceptional businesses and their employees making a difference to the community with nominations made by Rotarians.

This year's awardees were Ms Trish Martin from Blend and Roast, Koolewong; Ms Breanne Woulfe of New Leaf Dentists, Erina; Ms Kimberly Barbara of Blooms Chemist, Umina; Ms Julie Hermann of Bakers Delight, Umina; and Ms Rachel Hyde, a contract cleaner of Central Coast Council who regularly cleans Umina Beach.

Club president Mr Rouel Vergara said the awards were a way for the club to support and promote local people and business excellence in its own backyard.

"It is such a great opportunity for our club to recognise people in our community who have shown passion in their workplace.

"This year, we have five amazing women receiving this prestigious award who have each demonstrated commitment and without a doubt, performed above and beyond their call of duty in their respective workplaces," Mr Vergara said.
