Superheroes in parade

Woy Woy Public School held its Book Character Parade on August 27.

"Our school community had lots of fun on as we celebrated Book Week," said librarian Ms Cathy Walker.

"There were amazing and wonderful character costumes on display as every class had their turn in the parade.

"We had lots of superheroes and villains to go with the theme 'Reading is my Secret Power'.

"There were also Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Rapunzel, Matilda, and Willy Wonka.

"The staff had a great time dancing in the chicken dance flash mob."
