Umina performs at school showcase

Umina Beach Public School had two of its groups perform at the Central Coast School Showcase at Gosford's Laycock St Theatre on August 22.

The school's Stage 3 dancers and its recorder ensemble both performed numbers in the showcase which featured the best acts from across the entire Central Coast public school sector.

"The Recorder Ensemble played two songs from their Opera House repertoire, Three Brothers and Bluz for Suz," said principal Ms Lyn Davis.

"The dance group performed their acclaimed Garden of Shadows routine from the Central Coast Dance Festival.

"They were lucky enough to be able to watch most of the acts from all over the Central Coast before they performed in the matinee."
