Woy Woy wins battle of the Lions

Woy Woy recorded its second win of the season when it beat Hornsby 42-19 during Round 17 of the Central Coast Rugby Union Competition.

Rugby Union publicity officer Mr Larry Thomson said Woy Woy put on a pleasing display in front of a home crowd to earn a well deserved victory.

"Woy Woy went into the halftime break leading by 14 points and they continued their excellent form in the second stanza.

"It was a rewarding way for Woy Woy to hit back after what has been a frustrating season for them.

"Best players for Woy Woy were Sunita Fihaki, Joseva Kunawave and Alex Moore.

"Hornsby gave it their all, but it was just not their day in this battle of the Lions."
