Ducks recruit softball players

In a bid to bolster its recruiting efforts for the impending softball season, the Peninsula Ducks Softball Club is holding two Come and Try Day events in the coming weeks.

Both events will take place at Rogers Park Woy Woy from 10am to 2pm, with the first happening on August 31 and the second on September 8.

The Ducks are the Peninsula's only representative softball club and are also the newest club to grace the Central Coast Softball Association.

The club played their inaugural season last year and since then members have been steadily holding registration days over the past two months to attract new players and to spread the word that softball is readily available on the Peninsula.
