Textiles students produce handbags
Year 10 textiles students at Brisbane Water Secondary College Woy Woy campus recently completed a project to create fashionable and practical handbags.
They were challenged to create the handbags from pairs of old denim jeans.
The task was set to test the students sewing and production skills, their eye for design and to teach them a lesson about repurposing.
Campus principal Ms Rebecca Cooper said the students did a fabulous job producing several handbags.
