School holiday activities to be held on Peninsula
Central Coast Council will run a School Holiday Program with activities for all ages, including free and paid events, live entertainment, art and sporting activities taking place across the Peninsula.
Week one will start on September 28 with Youthfest at Umina Skate Park from 2pm to 8pm.
Jumping Castle Fun will visit Peninsula Leisure Centre on October 2, 4, 9 and 11, from 12pm to 2pm (incurs a cost).
Intensive learn to swim programs will take place on October 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 at Peninsula Leisure Centre (bookings essential).
A design your own cap workshop will take place at Umina Library from 2pm to 3:30pm on October 4 (bookings essential).
A poetry workshop will take place at Woy Woy Library from 2:30pm to 4pm, October 8 (bookings essential).
A Lego scavenger hunt will take place at Umina Library from 10am to 11am on October 10 (bookings essential).
A springtime craft class will take place at Woy Woy Library from 2pm to 3pm, on October 11 (bookings essential).
Special events happening throughout the holidays around the Peninsula include the Where's Wally Scavenger Hunt which will be happening at Umina and Woy Woy Libraries during opening hours from October 2-14.
Waterslide Fun will be held at the Peninsula Leisure Centre from 11am to 2pm every day of the holidays (entry fee).
