The Bays plan village fair

The date of the 2019 Bays Fair on the Village Green has been announced as Sunday, March 10.

Bays Fair on the Village Green is an event that aims to bring together residents of Horsfield Bay, Phegans Bay and Woy Woy Bay to share an interesting and fun-filled day.

To prepare for next year's fair, a meeting to form a small committee is being held in the community hall from 10am to 11:30am on Sunday, September 9.

Some topics suggested for discussion include: games and activities, cake stall, plant stall, sausage sizzle, music event, kayak and SUP races, a possible marine taxi service, Bays Community Group stall, decoration of the field, publicity and local promotion.

Interested residents are welcome to the discussion and invited to bring along their ideas for the meeting on Sunday, September 9.
