Cookery officer receives CWA award

A Woy Woy Country Women's Association branch member has been awarded the prestigious Pat Witt Memorial Award for her efforts during the CWA Northumberland Exhibition.

Woy Woy CWA's cookery officer Ms Amy Scott received the award for being the most successful cookery exhibitor.

Branch president Ms Jane Bowtell said the branch could not be prouder of Ms Scott.

Ms Bowtell said Ms Scott inspired members daily "to try new things with their cookery and to never be afraid of an imperfect bake".
