Kindergarten classroom helpers wanted

Umina Beach Public School is seeking classroom helpers for their Kindergarten students.

"Our Kindergarten children and their teachers are hoping that we will find some people who can spare one hour, one day a week, to assist in classrooms in group time," said principal Ms Lyn Davis.

Two hours "would be even better", she said.

"If just five parents who bring their children to school in the morning could stay for one hour, it would make such a difference to the Kindergarten programs offered in classrooms.

"The rewards from being a classroom helper are enormous and I know volunteers will love every minute they spend in the classrooms," Ms Davis said.
