Vegetables flourish

Tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, pumpkins, celery, spinach, lettuce and a variety of herbs are all flourishing under the care of Ettalong Public School students, staff and volunteers.

"The school's vegetable garden is in full bloom and the Environmental Committee is doing a superb job in promoting gardening skills and healthy eating habits," said principal Ms Lynn Balfour.

"The best part is the children are loving every minute of it," she said.
