Arboretum's 41 years is celebrated

The Crommelin Native Arboretum association at Pearl Beach celebrated its 41st Anniversary on August 20.

About 60 volunteers and guests attended as well as Member for Robertson Ms Lucy Wicks.

The Arboretum was a popular local attraction and was visited by many regular and occasional walkers, according to association publicity officer Ms Ann Parsons.

It is the venue for the annual Rotary Opera in the Arboretum in March and Jazz in the Arboretum on the October long weekend.
