Dance group places second

Umina Public School's Stage 3 dance group has performed its Japanese-themed dance "Pon Pon Pon" at Gosford High School.

The performance was part of the annual Gosford City Performing Arts Challenge Eisteddfod.

The group placed second in the primary school category.

The result has been a shot in the arm for the group which are now busily rehearsing for the Central Coast Dance Festival auditions in June.
