Hospital staff support bowel cancer awareness

Staff from Brisbane Waters Private Hospital will be joining colleagues from across Australia in support of Bowel Cancer Awareness Month in June.

They will participate in the Bay to Bay Running Festival on Sunday, June 18.

The money raised by the runners will be used to raise awareness and provide support to the programs run by Bowel Cancer Australia, in its fight against Australia's second most common cancer.

Hospital owner Healthe Care Australia's Central Coast Manager, Mr Matt Kelly, said the fundraiser is a wonderful opportunity for the staff to come together and take part in a fantastic community event.

"We encourage all Central Coast residents to come along on the day or visit out online fundraising page to support this worthy cause," Mr Kelly said.
