Tree day celebrated in the garden
Pretty Beach Public School celebrated International Tree Day with a whole day of gardening and planting on Friday, July 29.
"We did whole school gardening where we weeded and sorted out our class gardens," said Ms Emma Gordon.
"Then one child from each year was selected to do some planting," she said.
"We had plants such as grevillea, alyogyne, proteaflora and chamelaucium donated for planting.
"Chives and parsley will go in our veggie patch that the gardening club will tend to," she said.
