Olympic Games day held at Umina

A whole school Olympic Games Day was held at Umina Beach Public School on Friday, August 5.

The day gave the students the opportunity to experience the Olympic spirit in the lead-up to the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The Olympic Games Day included an opening and closing ceremony and a variety of athletic activities and ball games for the students to participate in.

The aim of the day was also to promote team and school sportsmanship.

An outside company ran the event.
