Turning by degrees

You report that the proposed redevelopment of the Bullion St carpark (For sale: Bullion St car park, July 25) will include 160 public car spaces, however, you do not say that these will still be free-of-charge spaces.

Incidentally, Mr Martin's reported satisfaction with the council's 100 degree turn around makes one wonder what a 180 degree turn around would have entailed.

One suspects that local residents would have been happiest with a 360 degree turn around.
