Teenage expo visits college
The students of Brisbane Water Secondary College received some advice about how to look after themselves and their futures, when the Australian Teenage Expo Show visited the school's Umina and Woy Woy campuses on Thursday, May 26.
The show was a commercial venture supported by not-for-profit organisations, government and commercial sponsors.
It provided guidance on teenage wellbeing and career planning.
The visit to the college was supported by the NSW Department of Education, and was themed Reaching Your Potential.
The show was available to all the students of each campus.
As well as the show's speakers and performers, it featured stands from agencies such as TAFE, the University of Newcastle, Headspace and other local youth-oriented support groups.
