Rotary clubs hear about resuscitation

The Rotary Clubs of Woy Woy and Umina had a meeting with the Umina Beach Surf Life Saving Club recently to receive an update on cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and the importance of defibrillation.

Long-standing surf club member Mr Bob Powell was guest speaker on the topic of resuscitation.

The talk included a demonstration of the dummy used to practice resuscitation techniques.

According to Mr Powell, the presence of defibrillators should be advertised with signage at all available locations.
