The arts don't need water views

I have spent a lifetime working in the arts, so call me a keen supporter of an arts centre at Gosford.

Usually when I go to the theatre, I take a close interest in what is happening on the stage.

I fail to see what significance a water view has.

Apart from Sydney Opera House, none of the great opera houses have views.

Ask any commuter what is more important, local jobs or water views.

I know what their response will be.
