Surf program at Umina Beach

The Deadly Young Aboriginal Surf Program will be held on Saturday, January 30, at Umina Beach.

The free program operates every year and includes beach-safety as well as learn-to-surf workshops.

The program is available for young indigenous Australians.

Three sessions will be held on the day between 9am and 5pm.

One one-hour session will be held for participants aged between eight and nine years and two 1.5 hour sessions will be held for those aged between 10 and 16 years.

Participants will be notified of session times closer to event date, as they depend on tides.
