Wicks takes up petrol price concerns

Residents who have concerns about petrol prices have been urged to contact the Federal member for Robertson, Ms Lucy Wicks, and add their name to a petition calling on the ACCC to investigate fuel pricing on the Central Coast.

"There's often quite a lot of disparity in our region ... which is quite strange I have to say," Ms Wicks said in an interview on ABC Central Coast.

"I would encourage people if you are concerned about this to get in contact with us and sign our petition and add your name to the list, because I do believe it adds weight to our argument," she said.

"We wrote to the ACCC.

"We've asked them to actually consider doing a deep dive investigation into the Central Coast region.

"We've written to them recently, reminding about our letter and our petition last year, respectfully requesting that they do consider the Central Coast as a region.

"We need to continue to stand up for Central Coast motorists," she said.
