Brilliant $5 idea
I have this issue with petrol prices on the Peninsula.
The editor of Peninsula News is not the only one I email about this issue.
I have written to Federal and State Members.
The only reply I got was from our State Member for Gosford, Ms Kathy Smith.
She had a great idea: only buy $5 worth of petrol on the Peninsula and tell the service station operator it's only to get you off the Peninsula to buy cheaper fuel.
The price has come down to $1:20 a litre but it is still $1:13 at Empire Bay.
I think it went down because of the proposed rally outside the local servos.
The $5 idea is brilliant.
The Federal Member has not answered my emails and it is not the first time.
