Mixed pairs championship
Woy Woy Bowling Club held its Mixed Pairs Championship on Sunday, September 29.
"Excitement behind the glass was at fever pitch with two very popular teams locked at one shot variations over the whole game," said bowls secretary Mr John Hughes.
"Gail Payne and Michael McMahon went head to head with Jarrod Bates and Carol Bryant.
"At end 20, it was 14-all and Jarrod pulled off a skipper's consummate shot converting a one down situation to a win of 15-14."
