Staff attend development day
All permanent staff of Woy Woy Public School attended a school development day on Monday, September 9.
Keynote speaker Professor Barry Carpenter delivered a presentation entitled Children with Complex Needs - The New Generation Challenge.
He outlined research on foetal alcohol spectrum disorder and the implications for teaching children with complex learning difficulties and disabilities.
"It was a fascinating presentation and should enable our teachers to more confidently plan personalised learning pathways and improve learning outcomes for students with complex learning difficulties and disabilities," said relieving principal Mr Dan Betts.
