Money raised at charity day

Brisbane Water Bridge Club successfully raised $980 at its annual Jean Pelham Charity Day held on Monday, September 9, at the Peninsula Leisure Centre.

Winners of the event were Shirley and Noel Crockett, with Hope Tomlinson and Barry Foster in second place and Felicity Fane and Heather Brown in third.

Thanks were given to Heather Munday, Bobbie Lyons, Lucy Van Der Veen and helpers for their contribution to the club.

The club also held its Novice Pairs Championship the following day and the winners were Ann and John Wilson with Theo Chadwick and Fay Cole in second and Alma Van Der Walt and Draudi Odewahn in third.
